Mobile Health Apps--Senior Planet

Did you know that your smartphone is also a powerful health tool? This lecture introduces common health apps, like the iPhone Health app and the Samsung Health app. You'll learn the main features such as activity tracking, food logging, data insights, integration with other apps and more! We'll also discuss some considerations for using health apps including data and privacy.

Senior Planet in Montgomery is an organization that works to empower seniors 50 and older with free classes. Senior Planet, the flagship program of Older Adults Technology Services (OATS), shares their mission to help seniors harness technology and change the way we age. Partnering with Poolesville Seniors, Senior Planet in Montgomery hopes to fulfill that mission by bringing their classes, offered in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Mandarin, to our area.
